Among the third generation models the Praktica MTL3 was the most successful. For this generation the established L-series chassis was further refined with over 100 modifications under the hood, mainly in the shutter mechanism where performance has been further enhanced. The major visible changes are the same as the others, such as the use of a checkerboard leatherette material, the addition of a split-image rangefinder, and an extra PC socket for flash connection. Inside the viewfinder plus and minus marks have been added to the meter index mark as well. The MTL3 was available with or without delay-action release. |
