 Cameras -> Praktica L -> Praktica Super TL 2

While still belonging to the first generation, the Praktica super TL2 was introduced in 1975, after the second generation appeared. Of pure first generation design and construction, it is like a LTL without delay-action release, with the 1/1000s shutter speed deleted. It also appears that a simpler focusing screen was fitted without a condenser.

It stands to reason that this model was produced to use up existing stocks of first generation parts, and in an attempt to avoid competing against the LTL3 the specification was simplified to warrant a lower sticker price. The appellation reminds one of the very successful super TL in the nova series whose specification it mirrors.
